SMS Troubleshooting
For GSM Devices (your device has a SIM card)
- Go to your BlackBerry Options, Advanced Options, SIM Card
- Check that your phone number is entered
- If not select edit/add phone number from the menu and enter your full phone number there (1 and area code included)
- Reboot device if you had to add/modify your phone number
- Follow CDMA instructions if still not working
- Download latest version OTA Link
- Ensure you answer yes to security prompts
